Biology and Pre-AP Chemistry Grading Policy

Charles Page High School – Dr. Cotton – Room 505

You are to understand that you will receive a zero on an assignment for any of the following reasons:

  1. If you do not count an answer wrong when it should be counted wrong.
  2. If you state that you received more points than you really deserve (example: you put that you got 25 correct when you only got 15 correct).
  3. If you change an answer while we are grading, or add answers to your paper.
  4. If you in any way give or receive an answer during a quiz or test.
  5. If you do not use a red ink pen to grade the paper- nothing else is accepted.

You also need to understand that you will not receive credit for a math problem that does not have the work shown, or that does not include the proper units, or for an answer that does not match the work.
